           CHAPTER
          3 :: Blue Trip  |

|
              |

|
           GM:
          On the other side of
town close to Kosh's lodgings lay a shorter building with only about
300 stories. This was the Tec Foundry, a bar, dance hall, and
entertainment establishment. It was known for its beautiful Twi'lek
dancers. Kosh had plenty of time before leaving on his mission. What
chance would he have to see dancers on Dek's ship?   |

|
Kosh entered the famous Azure Jaunt Dance club. The pounding of the music drove the infectious staggering of body movement. Looking around there were countless people in a very large group bouncing and swaying to the beat of the music. Kosh loved this place. It was in his blood, like part of his culture. There were Twi'Lek dancers in cages hanging from the ceiling. Laser lights and pulsing bright flashes seemed to pound with the same rhythm of the beat. No one could ever take that feeling away from Kosh. IT was freedom of expression. It was moving to something deeper though. It was something that he could sense all around him. When he was here, in the hypnotic pounding, he became one with everything in the universe. |

|
           At
the bar, beside many numerous beings, was a beautiful Zabrak female.
Her long hair almost covered up her more beautiful horns. The tattoos
on her face were different. Green Spirals. Not the average face
markings of his species. Her face was delicate and soft. At least that
is all that Kosh could make out from across the room with flashing
          strobes . . . .she was alone. |

|
           KOSH:
          Kosh
moves over to her, slips into the stool beside her and orders a spice
beer. He turns around to lean on the bar and stares out at the dancing
crowds, "I love this place," he says aloud, "There is
no greater freedom of expression than this. You can lose yourself in
this, body, mind and soul." |

|
           Delia:
          She turns to see
him. Now closer, Kosh saw that her hair had bright blue streaks in it.
She also had a labret. “Hi” she said with unexpectancy in her
voice, like she hadn’t seen a cute Zabrak in a long time.
“I am Delia, who are you?” |

|
              |

|
           KOSH:
He smiles warmly and extends his hand, "Name’s Kosh. Seeing you
here kind of took me off guard," he switches to the zabrak
tongue, " I've gotten used to being the only one of our kind
          around." |

|
           DELIA:
I know what you mean! Oh hey the DJ is zabrak! His name is Krex! She
points to the Music Master behind the turntables. |

|
           KOSH:
He smiles, "He's pretty good," He looks at her with charming
and deliberate eyes (but not sleazy), "but I was more interested
in your abilities..." He pauses and then gestures to the dancing
crowd, "..on the dance floor. |

|
           DELIA:
          She perks up quickly,
“You want to dance with me?!”
A big, very cute smile popped onto her face quicker than one of
the strobe lights could catch. “Yeah, I’d love to!" She had a
cute high-pitched voice like she was younger than Kosh expected. But
she had to be a certain age to get into the establishment. She hopped
off of her stool and grabbed his hand pulling him quickly to the dance
          floor. |

|
            KOSH: After dancing for
a good while and sharing a couple of beers, "Delia, what are
doing after this?" He looks happy and hopeful at the same time,
"Maybe we can go back to my place and watch some vids. I live in
the upper spires, you'd love it.” |

|
           DELIA:
She bites her lip in thought. “Well I am here with some of my girl
friends. I would hate to leave them. Do you think you can bring me
home later? I live about 20K north of here.” |

|
           KOSH:
He smiles, "Sure, no problem. As long as you promise to let me
          take you out again." |

|
           DELIA:
          Her over zealousness shows
through. “Oh yeah! …I mean …we’ll see. What Vids did you have
          in mind?” |

|
           KOSH:
He shrugs, "you can pick whatever you like out of my collection.
It's pretty extensive. Let's take off before it gets too late,"
he smiles, "I want to spend as much time with as I can before you
ditch me for your friends." |

|
           DELIA:
”Okay I am going to tell them. Wait here.” |

|
           She
disappears into the crowd. The lights and pounding music still creates
a sense of euphoria. Then she emerges from the crowd again. “Okay
          lets split!.” |

|
           KOSH:
Kosh, giddy as a school boy and not even trying to hide the fact that
he is delighted by Delia, hails a hover -cab and takes her back to his
pad. Without writing a 'passion' novel...let's just he busts a move,
but remains sensitive and straightforward. he sincerely likes this
girl and is not out to play her. |

|

  |

|
           GM:
           As
they sit talking on the transporter bus Delia thinks to her self how
much she likes this guy, you can tell by the way she loses her self in
his eyes. She doesn’t make it a point to fall for the every zabrak
she runs into. This guy was special, like grow old together special.
Suddenly a loud bang echo through the bus as smoke bellows into the
section of the bus. Out of the smoke a figure develops. It was a
Rodin. As he speaks in a very slurred huttese, the only translatable
part was “You going to die!” He was pointing at Delia! |

|
              |

|
           KOSH:
Kosh whips out his twin blasters, gunslinger style, and doesn't
          hesitate to kill... |

|
              |

|
           GM:
A flash of light ended the confrontation. Smoked poured out of the
Rodins belly as Kosh put his blasters back to his hip. “Oh my god we
have to get out of here now!” Delia cried in fear. The bus had come
to a stop as the driver’s security guard came from the front
          questioning the passengers.  “Look
Kosh the door is halfway jammed open, lets get the hell out of
here!” Delia suggested in a jittery nerve racked voice. The way the
bus stopped there was about a 10-foot drop to the landing platform. |

|

  |

|
           KOSH:
he grabs Delia in his arms and leaps out of the bus onto the platform. |

|
           GM:
          They were only 2
buildings away from Kosh’s lopht. You can see it from where they are
standing. Like they could reach out and touch it. The only way to get
there was to take the elevator to the bottom and walk or make it to
one of the taxis across the landing pad. Suddenly a shout comes from
the bus, “Hey you two! We need to ask you some questions! Come here!
          Some one stop them!” |

|
           KOSH:
Kosh throws a quick glance at the bus to see who is yelling at him...
It is the bus security Guard. He grins, "Screw it!" He looks
at Delia as he grabs her close, "Hold on!" Kosh
runs to the edge of the building and jumps off...but not before
securing his grappling on the edge of the platform. As they fall down,
he waits till he sees a window or alcove and then stops the release of
the wire, in order to swing in. |

|
              |

|
           GM:
As they crash through the window on the 37th floor, the Bus
guard looks down puzzled at the guts any one would have to have to
pull a stunt like that. He radios to the bus and then continues into
          the building. |

|
              |

|
Kosh and Delia are a little banged up. Nothing a good soak in a hot spa wouldn’t cure. The room they are in was dark . It looked like nobody was at home. “They will be looking for us here we have to get to your place soon. Or just out of here I don’t care!” Delia said. She was in shock of what just happened. No one has ever done anything like that for her before. And she just met this guy. Oh yes, he was special. |

|
           KOSH:
He grabs her and goes on full stealth mode. Working his way down a few
levels before finding an entrance. He'll then look for a taxi and pay
him enough to drive around for a half hour before heading back to his
          place. |

|
              |

|
           GM:
Kosh spots a Taxi in the distance. After a few minutes the taxi driver
asks. “So let me get this straight, You want me to fly you around
          for a while?”    |

|
           Kosh:
          "Yeah, we just want to
take in the sights of our fair planet for a while before retiring to
          our humble abode.” |

|
           GM:
The Taxi driver, who was a toydarian, smiled. He fully under stood
now. “And to your right you will see the Prax Dren. It is the most
popular food joint in the area with …” He continues to spout off
entrées from their menu as Delia leans over to Kosh “This is the
wildest first date I have ever been on.” Just then she realized that
she called it a date. She was kinda embarrassed not wanting to seem
pushy or moving too fast, in retort she said, “What you did for me
was the kindest thing any one has done for me. You are very brave.
Thank you.” She couldn't help herself, she really couldn't. She
leaned even closer and gently grasped her lips to his. |

|
           KOSH:
Of course, Kosh obliges her. |

| DELIA: Delia looks deep into Kosh’s eyes. “You are probably wondering why that guy wanted to kill me.” |
|
         KOSH:
He grins, "The thought had crossed my mind..." |

|
         DELIA:
“Well, “ she said, “one of my friends had a spice problem. She
was addicted and went blind in the process. See what happened is that I
walked in on a deal the other day. When the Dealer saw me. Bella told
him that I was her friend and that he could trust me. The dealer was
furious and reminded her ‘no witnesses’. Then he shot her in the
head. Right in the freaking head! I am very lucky I got away. But now
that image is burned into my memory and it is tearing me up inside.
The Rodin is the right hand man of the drug dealer. He does his
dirty work. Well since I saw the dealer’s face, he wants me dead. I
have thought of talking to the Empire about it, to see if they can do
something, but I am not quite sure about them. I hear that the Emperor
        is not that nice.” |

|
         KOSH:
"Actually the empire would be more than happy to clean up a few
spice dealers, unless of course the dealer is actually working for them.
What did the guy look like, do you know his name?" |

|
         DELIA:
“He was a bothan that is all I could figure out.” Delia was
troubled. “But who could I go to? I don’t know any one that is in
the Imperial army or anything.” |

|
         KOSH:
"I have to be honest with you. Most
here on Nar Shadda would just as assume turn you over as a peace token
than go to war with a fellow dealer. Your best bet is to ditch this
planet entirely...I'm leaving on business in the next 20 hours or
so...you could go with me." |

|
         DELIA:
“But where would I go?” Delia looked very sad, almost to tears in
thoughts of leaving her family. “If I leave they will attack my
friends and family” She thinks long and hard for a few minutes. “I
know that if I am gone they will think I am dead. Maybe that will be to
the advantage of my family somehow.” It was more of a question than a
        statement looking for reassurance. |

|
         KOSH:
"Honestly, you are more of a danger to your friends and family if
you stay. By leaving, you remove the perceived threat to his business.
As for where to go...there is a whole galaxy to explore," Kosh's
eyes light up as he talks about what happens to be his own personal
dream, "Just think about it, roaming the galaxy, seeing all the
diversity that is out there! You may not have a place to call home, but
who needs a home? a star ship can be the best home you ever had, it can
be wherever you want to be...sounds great doesn't it?" |

|
         DELIA:
She trusts this guy. She doesn’t know why, but she does. “What about
        you?,…Where are you going?” |

|
         KOSH:
"I've got some business to attend to...you might as well know, I'm
running some merchandise for Gurlak the Hutt. But it's only till I've
accumulated enough credits to strike out on my own. I'm pretty much set
right now, but this job is a deal maker for Gurlak, and it's kinda my
        way of saying 'thanks'." |

|
         DELIA:
“Oh, okay. That is fine. Sounds like you are ready to leave this
planet more than me..” She giggles. |

|
         Just
then the taxi comes to a stop on the landing pad at Kosh’s place. |

|
         KOSH:
He steps out of the cab and leans back in, "In light of the current
circumstance, I suggest you drop whatever plans you had and stay with
till we take off...it's safer that way." |

|
         DELIA:
She smiles, “okay, that was my plan any way.”
          |

|
GM: He takes her hand and they walk to the door. ‘20 hours’ she thought. ‘It is time for some relaxation and stress relief.’ As they walked into the door she said, “You have a hot spa right?” |
